"I appreciate that the materials that you provide can be used in any aspect of life.

I am, of course, using the other materials toward the improvement of Waldorf activities with my child, but this one, I kept special for me as a mother.

My favorite thing about your Ruzuku course is that you provide such a vast variety of resources that we can access to deepen our understanding of the "why."

My experience with other Waldorf curricula is that it seems just a little bit too scant. I have had one that just provided a couple of activities each day, and sometimes that takes us 30 minutes and we're sitting there wondering what to do for the rest of the day or evening.

With your course, I am able to learn enough background to be able to flow with a mix of professional anthroposophically-created activities and activities that I come up with uniquely for my daughter."

"Just wanted to say thank you for your fantastic 1st grade Ruzuku course. I have started to work through it with my seven year old, except adapting it to our own favorite stories.

Now that it's her summer break from school, and the baby is at least a toddler now, I'm hoping we'll be able to do a lot more of it. I love the search feature. So for example, if I'm on Time of Wonder, I can search boats, and see what activities you did with boats.

I can see how much effort this was, and I want you to know that we absolutely love it!!!

Thank you for sharing all of your ideas."

Lily

"Thank you for doing this class to help me prepare for the upcoming block.

I really appreciated the videos and actually seeing and hearing ("pen down, hands up", "bounce") how to engage the child in the process.

One of the key insights I had was actually on day 1 during the planning section. It was so refreshing to hear that in your planning you make space for "life" to occur. Often I find that curriculums are jam packed with busy work and don't allow for time to go on field trips and go to the dentist or enjoy a visit from a family member. It's really liberating to think I can still plan out a meaningful instructional block while still enjoying our home life."

"Overall I think this an excellent way of teaching someone how use Chancery script. I feel a hundred times more confident than when I first started. There is a wonderful planning section that helps identify goals and expectations. The videos are easy to understand and allow for time to practice and understand each stroke. I feel well equipped to implement this instruction into our Homeschooling routine."

Julie

"I enjoyed the direct questions and mini lessons to guide my planning. The responses to my comments from the guide were valuable.

An insight was to not try to use all the materials I have and not to worry about fitting it all in since we will cycle back around to the unit in a few years.

Another MLB planning course that would be useful for me is Saints and Virtuous People. I know nothing about saints and their stories. This course was very helpful in coming up with a connection and hands-on work.

I would be willing to share a testimonial...let me know how to do that."

Megan

"This short course has given me the freedom to plan my lessons with confidence. I especially loved the index cards trick and the puppetry and movement exploration ideas.

Your encouraging spirit has put me at ease.

Thank you Renee."

"We are just loving the books you sent."

"Lol! I am rereading your email again after several days later and I am still laughing at loud :-) Thank you for your encouragement and the reminder of what I am really trying to teach him this year. Grit is a good way to describe it, another way is perseverance and confidence in his abilities."

Matt

"You are such an amazing support!"

"Hi Renee, I am about to embark on our homeschool journey. I have 2 chalkboards, watercolor paints, my Oak meadow curriculum, my girls are getting revved up.

But my daughter really wanted to learn about Norse mythology. So I purchased D'Aulaire's book.

And I also really looked at your wonderful website.

It seemed overwhelming when I first made the decision to homeschool, but looking at it now, it's a huge help.

I have spent many hours really pouring over the pages for each grade even up to 8th.

I just wanted to thank you for the fantastic website and for the passion and creativity you have invested in it."

Terri

"Thank you Renee. I don't know how to express my gratitude. Lots of love from India!!"

"I just want to say a big thank you to you for sharing and for giving, to those people, like myself, who don't have a) the oppotunity to homeschool full time, and b) the money to spend on whole curriculums. Just your ideas and reccomendations are wonderful! Thank you!"

Sasha

"I hadn't been to your site before, and when I went there, I was blown away. What an amazing treasure trove of information that you are sharing, I am incredibly impressed....

What you are doing is such a great service to the Waldorf community, if I can help in any way please let me know."

Angela Guzzo (Waldorf Books)

"I've received the wonderfully packaged order and wondered if there is a place on your site for testimonials? It has been a pleasure ordering from you and the information you have on your site. The children immediately incorporated the block crayons in their afternoon art project. The hand-knit Gnome has become our homeschool mascot!

Thank you so much"

Sandra

"Your lesson plan provides a wholistic approach that can be applied for everyone regardless of religion, that nourishes a child, heart, mind and soul. Easily adaptable and broad scoped I appreciate the lesson plans exactly as you made them. Not too much organization and not too little. It is exactly what I was trying to come up myself for my children. Something to instill in them a better sense of the world around them and provide a wholistic learning expierence, instead of the sterile, test driven class rooms of the public system. Due to allergies and whatnot I don't follow all exactly. I substitute polyester and other dyes and things like that where needed, but your system is so easy to do that with."

Joy

"You are a wonderful resource. Thank you so much for the help."

Laurel

"Have just stumbled across your site after many weeks of searching for inspiration...am about to embark on a homeschooling journey with my 3.5 yr old and the Waldorf route suits him to the ground.

Have home schooled my older daughter but with a more formal route that was her niche...

This stuff is great. Am based in the UK and have access to one more family who Steiner school...but on the whole feel very alone (as a state trained teacher the old demons creep in frequently and i have to resist really hard not to slip into national curriculum mode!)

Love your downloads are there any more .....have followed your many links with glee."

Maria

"I was really pleased to discover the Waldorf Curriculum website (while surfing through Amazon I came across one of the materials lists) and it really appeals to me!"

Kara

"I just want to thank you for the work you have done and are doing by providing a well thought out curric to Waldorf home educators. I am Mom to a 2 yog with one on the way and really want to home school our children. I have only briefly viewed your website but am very excited about your cirriculum. I found your work through the Simply Live yahoo group. There is a buzz of how wonderful and generous you are with your information and expertise. I have just joined your Yahoo group and look forward to the knowledge and confidence I will gain from your outlines. I am so excited and so grateful!!!"

Jennifer

"I've just discovered your site and think that it is wonderful! I am just starting homeschooling with my 40 month old and was delighted to find you (can't remember where exactly I heard about you.)

I will be back for more and recommending you for sure."

Gina

"Thank you for your order, Rhoda. What an amazing library you have created - wonderful! Please let us know if there is anything we can do to further your work -- Bob agrees with me that it is just the sort of thing this movement has needed."

Nancy Parsons (Bob & Nancy's Bookshop)

"What a great website, Rhoda! And what a wonderful resource for Waldorf homeschooling families."

Sarah Baldwin (Bella Luna Toys)

"My friends and I at work are addicted to your blog and your sense of organization (ok, mainly me but I always share with them) !! Although we work full time and do not home school our children, your posts about crafts and teachings and ideas about a million other things have been a great addition to our lives! I am always trying to come up with creative ways to help my child learn, albeit mostly on weekends as during the week proves a little hectic. We also love reading your posts about what the kids helped you bake and meal plans, so to answer your wondering from today, yes some of us click all the links and check them out!

You are a wonderfly creative person.... keep the ideas coming!"

Angela

"It was a pleasure to get to know you over the weekend. I have admired your work on your website for a long time."
